Q. When will you ship my order?

We ship orders everyday from Monday through Saturday. Within 48 hrs of order confirmation, we hand over the orders to our delivery partners.

Q. When will I receive my order?

Our orders are shipped through our delivery partners within 48 hrs of order confirmation from Monday through Saturday. Thereafter, you will receive your order within 3 working days.

Q. How can I cancel my order?

If you would like to cancel any order, please call us at +91 9900607205 or write to us at hello@mokka.in within 24 hrs of order confirmation.

Q.What coffee do you trade in?

We grow Robusta coffee in our estate in Kodagu(Coorg). We also source only high quality Robusta and Arabica coffee from a few of the best estates in Karnataka.

Q. What is Theralu coffee?

Theralu coffee is a high quality premium grade Robusta coffee grown in our own farm in Theralu village, Coorg. We take special care from selection of plants to processing the beans and roasting till it finally reaches you. We believe this coffee suits best for a South Indian filter coffee.

Q. Why Robusta or Arabica coffee?

Both the varieties of coffee are grown across the world as per the geographical locations that suit best for each variety. Also, these two varieties have distinctively different flavours to offer. While the Robusta coffee is bold and bitter, the Arabica coffee is mild and sweet. Often the two varieties are blended to get the perfect cup.

Q. Do you recommend Pure Coffee blends over the usual chicory-coffee blends?

There was a time when people only drank pure filter coffee in South India. Rising coffee prices and their love for drinking coffee forced people to adopt consuming coffee mixed with chicory. We believe the strength and flavour of a coffee should be from it is coffee beans that are freshly roasted and ground rather than mixing it with chicory. We aim to do just that.

Q. How fresh is my coffee?

Coffee starts to lose its freshness and aroma immediately after roasting. We do our best while sending you your coffee ensuring it is roasted to order. It is best to grind your own coffee just before it’s brewed to retain freshness. Ground coffee lasts fresh up to two weeks, while roasted beans can retain their freshness for up to four weeks. We recommend buying your coffee every two weeks for maximum flavour in a cup.

Q. What is the best temperature to brew coffee?

The ideal temperature is not boiling water but water that is just off the boil with temperature between 95 - 98°C. Lower temperatures will yield an under extracted coffee and higher temperatures might burn the coffee and also increase the acidity.

Q. What is the best way to store coffee?

Coffee should be kept away from heat, light, air and moisture. Coffee starts to lose aroma, flavour and taste when exposed to any of these. Hence, it is best stored in an air-tight, opaque container in a cool, dry place. Never store coffee in your refrigerator as it tends to absorb moisture spoiling your coffee quickly in addition to picking the smell of other items placed nearby. An easier way to store your coffee is to ensure you tightly seal the pouches you get your coffee in.

We strive for a better living by implementing sustainable methods in growing our produce. We are currently sourcing coffee, pepper, tea and organic fruits that are processed naturally  and as minimal chemicals as possible to bring delicious food to your palate.
